Happy Ganesh Chaturthi.

Wish you all a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi
or Ganesha Festival.

It
is on this day, Lord Ganesha, the son of Shiva and Parvati, is believed to have bestowed his presence on earth for all his devotees.

To celebrate the arrival of the Lord, I share with you his image, I created by drawing his form in thin air, in pitch darkness with a pencil torch light. This photographic technique is known as 'Light Painting'#.

# Light painting
, also known as light drawing or light graffiti is a photographic technique in which exposures are made usually at night or in a darkened room by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera. In many cases the light source itself does not have to appear in the image (like the torch used to create this image is not to be seen in it). The term light painting also encompasses images lit from outside the frame with hand-held light sources.
